Fluorescent lamps

Compact fuorescent lamps

Of course, Albert is happy to help its clients save en-ergy and its range includes lights that are confgured for fuorescent lamps and/or compact fuorescent lamps (TC-S, -L, -T etc.) as standard. These lights are ftted with a low-loss or electronic ballast as standard depending on item. These lights are marked with the symbol opposite.

Energy-effcient lamps and LED retroft

For a long time we have been continuously develo-ping new lights that are designed for the use of mo-dern energy-effcient lamps or the new LED retroft lamps as standard. Please take the time to note the information under “Replacing incandescent lamps with energy-effcient lamps or LED retroft” in the opposite column. To make it easier to recognise the different types of light, we have marked them with the symbol opposite.

Replacing refector lamps with LED retroft

Our foodlights for refector lamps have been designed for con-ventional halogen lamp technology.

For many of our lights, so-called LED retroft lamps can be used instead of the intended halogen refector lamps, subject to cer-tain environmental circumstances. Please note the valid tech-nical data of the lamp manufacturer. As these new lights are constantly be re-developed and revised, we cannot assume any liability for the technical data supplied by the lamp manufac-turer, for example regarding the luminous effciency and lifespan when operated in our lights. Due to the variety of manufacturer and type, we cannot make any statement about the thermal con-ditions when operating these retroft lamps in our models. We always indicate the lamp dimensions and maximum incandes-cent light output for mounting the lights in our documentation. Please note that you should base the choice of substitution lamp on the lamp light output information provided by us, according to the previous halogen mounting. The symbols below indicate which lights are suitable for conversion.

Replacing incandescent lamps with energy-effcient lamps or LED retroft

Many of our lights have been designed for conventional incan-descent lamps. Of course, for many of our lights, energy effcient light bulbs or LED retroft lamps can be used instead of the in-tended conventional incandescent lamps. We always indicate the maximum incandescent light output for mounting the lights in our documentation. Please note that you should base the output level of the substitution lamp on the lamp light output infor-mation provided in the table above. Unfortunately we do not provide any guarantee for the luminous effciency or life span of the replacement lamps. The symbol below indicate which lights can be converted.

LED

We have been working on LED lights for years. For our models we only use high-quality LED modules with high effciency, long lifespan, good colour reproduc-tion and high luminous fux. We normally supply our lights with a white colour temperature of 4000 K. A warm-white colour temperature of 3000 K is also available on request. The necessary converters and LED elements are integrated into our products. Thus the lamps are designed for direct connection to 230 V, 50 Hz. The values for luminous colour and lumi-nous fux are typical mean values. Since LEDS may differ from these values due to production reasons, we cannot guarantee identical colour and light values for subsequent orders. In our catalogue these lights are marked with the symbol opposite.

HIT

We predominantly use electronic ballasts for opera-ting the metal halide lamps in our lights. The use of lower lamp output and thus compliance with Energy Effciency Class A makes this lamp technology so in-teresting, even for smaller buildings.

The symbols opposite indicate which lights are equip-ped with this reliable and effcient technology.
